Margignone/Montecarlo (Lucca) - Figline Val d’Arno (Florence) - Subbiano ( Arezzo)
Day 1
Arrival in Montecarlo, visit to this characteristic medieval village where the time seems
to have stopped. The small town is surrounded by high walls and dominates a wonderful panorama. Overnight at the
Locanda del Fornello in Marginone (at the feet of Montecarlo). Dinner and drinks included.
Day 2
After breakfast departure to Lucca, medieval town surrounded by imposing walls of the
14th century. To visit, the cathedral, the amphitheatre square, the silk museum. In the afternoon, visit to Pisa
to see its beautiful Miracle square with the Leaning Tower. Back to the hotel, dinner, drinks included. Overnight.
Day 3
After breakfast departure to Montecatini Terme travelling through Altopascio. In Montecatini
visit to the spa then by funicular up to Montecatini Alto to admire a breathtaking panorama over the surrounding
hills. The journey proceeds to Figline Val d’Arno at Hotel Residence Villa Casagrande , dinner, drinks included and overnight.
Day 4
After breakfast departure to discover the Chianti area: Greve with its characteristic
square lined by arcades and terraces, Castellina in Chianti, the old castle of the 12th century and the Etruscan
vestiges. Back to Figline Val d’Arno at Hotel Residence Villa Casagrande, dinner, drinks included. Overnight in
hotel.
Day 5
After breakfast departure towards Arezzo travelling through San Gimig nano, town well known for its towers, the
cathedral and the Cisterna Square, Val d'Elsa and Monteriggioni, medieval town surrounded by walls with 14 towers.
Short stop in Siena on the way to Subbiano. Overnight at Hotel Relais Santa Flora, dinner, drinks included.
Day 6
After breakfast, visit to Arezzo ancient and important Etruscan town. It's historical
centre offers a large choice of works of art to be discovered. In the afternoon, visit to Montalcino, small town
reknown for it's famous "Brunello wine" then, Pienza and Montepulciano, two jewels of the Renaissance,
Back to hotel for overnight, dinner, drinks included.
Day 7
Breakfast in hotel and end of our services.
